I'm a digital product designer based in New York.
I designed the first iPhone and Android apps for Venmo, then spent 6 formative years working on G Suite and Google Maps.
These days, I work with small to mid-size companies as an all-in-one design partner. I design and develop their products, websites, visual identities, and marketing materials.
Edia started as a homework app for high school math students, but has since expanded to assessments, remedial programs, and district-level analytics for superintendents. Edia is updating the public school education system with modern software.
As the only designer, I pitch in everywhere. I support our sales team with marketing materials and presentations, our content teams with style guides to unify our math problems, and build both our student and district products.
AIRS Medical's flagship product SwiftMR™ reduces MRI scan time by 50% to 85%, which gives radiology centers more patients in less time (and thus more revenue!). Although they produce the best results in their market, they're relatively unknown outside of Korea.
I worked with AIRS Medical's US and Korea-based sales teams to design and develop a new website to complement their expansion. I also developed print and digital materials, including a postcard, brochure, and various digital ads.
I was the design lead for Citizen Protect. This was the company's first paid service, and I worked with 1 PM and 3 Engineers to build the product from scratch.
We created several prototypes, put them through multiple rounds of testing, and built a go-to-market strategy. To date, Protect has saved people from heart attacks, dispatched roadside assistance to users stranded in the desert, and located missing family members.
The Google Maps research team led a large effort focused on commutes, spending months speaking to users in Mumbai, Seattle, Sydney, Zurich, and Tokyo.
I worked closely with the research and product management teams to turn their findings into features for everyday commutes, such as sending alerts for commute disruptions and suggesting alternate routes.
